چکیده

In this paper, we focus on a problem that requires the location of recharging stations and routing electric vehicles in goods distribution system. The are disseminated from depot distributed to customers via heterogeneous fleet with limited capacity. Differently classical vehicle problem, have battery restrictions need be recharged at some if trip is longer than their range. reduces finding optimal locations number minimize total cost, which includes fixed costs opening operating vehicles. We propose novel mathematical formulation an efficient Benders decomposition algorithm embedded into two-phase general framework solve environmental logistics problem. Phase I solves restricted provide upper bound for original later solved II. Between two phases, intermediate processing procedure introduced reduce computations II This achieved by combination several lower bounds obtained exploiting underlying network structure. Our approach setting non-identical allowing multiple visits partial recharging. computational study provides both managerial methodological insights.

A Mixed Integer Programming Formulation for the Heterogeneous Fixed Fleet Open Vehicle Routing Problem

The heterogeneous fixed fleet open vehicle routing problem (HFFOVRP) is one of the most significant extension problems of the open vehicle routing problem (OVRP). The HFFOVRP is the problem of designing collection routes to a number of predefined nodes by a fixed fleet number of vehicles with various capacities and related costs. In this problem, the vehicle doesn’t return to the depot after se...

A Benders Decomposition Approach for the Charging Station Location Problem with Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles

The flow refueling location problem (FRLP) locates p stations in order to maximize the flow volume that can be accommodated in a road network respecting the range limitations of the vehicles. This paper introduces the charging station location problem with plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (CSLP-PHEV) as a generalization of the FRLP. We consider not only the electric vehicles but also the plug-i...

Developing the Inventory Routing Problem with Backhauls, Heterogeneous Fleet and Split Service

One of the most important points in a supply chain is customer-driven modeling, which reduces the bullwhip effect in the supply chain, as well as the costs of investment on the inventory and efficient transshipment of the products. Their homogeneity is reflected in the Inventory Routing Problem, which is a combination of distribution and inventory management. This paper expands the classical In...

A new formulation and Benders’ decomposition for multi-period facility location problem with server uncertainty

Facility location problems reported in the literature generally assume the problem parameter values (like cost, budget, etc.) to be known with complete certainty, even if they change over time (as in multi-period versions). However, in reality, there may be some uncertainty about the exact values of these parameters. Specifically, in the context of locating primary health centers (PHCs) in deve...
